Mr. Charlie Dang, GM of The Westin Beijing, Financial Street, announced three appointments for the EXCOM positions.

Mr. Jason Coker was appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing of the Hotel. Previous to this appointment, Mr. Coker was Director of Global Sales at Starwood Melbourne Global Sales Office, where he was awarded as Winner of sales leader of 2004 for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific. Early than that, he was Area Director of Revenue Management, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific. Mr. Coker has significant working experience in Sydney Olympic Broadcasting Organization in 1998 – 2000, and he is ready to welcome another Olympic in Beijing.

Mr. Bernhard Alexander Langer took the position as Director of Food and Beverage of the hotel. Prior to moving to Beijing, Mr. Langer was Director of Food & Beverage at Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort. With 18 years working experience in Hotel industry, especially 3-year success in The Westin Shanghai, Mr. Langer brings his creativity and innovation to present a completed new dining experience at The Westin Beijing.

Mr. Wilsom Lum Kok Yew was appointed as Director of Rooms after his success in the position of Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms at The Westin Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Since Mr. Lum started his hotel career back in 1984, he has worked in various positions in Room Division in different hotels and gained rich experience. Mr. Lum will focus on delivering the excellence of Westin service to the guests.

Scheduled to open in late 2006, the Westin Beijing Financial Street strengthens Starwood’s position in upscale hotels in China.
