The Festival of Bharat to be hosted in central New Delhi

The event will feature some of India’s brightest and most influential movers and shakers from academia, politics, arts, business, sports and media.

MUMBAI – CITTI Media announced that the first edition of the five-day Festival of Bharat will now be taking place at arguably India’s most iconic – and one of the world’s most beautiful – events locations, the IGNCA and IGNCA lawns by Rajpath, in the heart of New Delhi, from 4th – 8th April, 2018.

This setting is within the sight of Rashtrapati Bhawan (The President of India’s official residence) and the iconic India Gate. There has been an overwhelming support and interest from the country’s most senior leaders, media, partners and members of the public for this Government of India-backed event, to the extent that a larger, purpose-built, and more centrally-located venue has been suggested both for 2018, and for even larger future editions of the event.

The event is now expected to reach to as high as 100,000 people (1 lakh) over multiple days of a live music fest, a literature fest, a cottage industry flea market, a make in -and -for India exhibition, an organic food festival in a pretty garden setting, a fashion show, a celebrity TV talk show, an Indic fashion show, a morning yoga retreat, a gala dinner and awards evening, and an exquisite Bharatiya after-party. The event will feature some of India’s brightest and most influential movers and shakers from academia, politics, arts, business, sports and media.

This sets the stage for The Festival of Bharat to become not only the world’s largest multi-faceted event (music fest – literature fest – food fest – yoga retreat – fashion show – televised talk show – exhibition & flea market and gala awards) focussed on an Indian renaissance, but also the source of some of the most exciting cultural, entertainment and literary content broadcast to tens of millions via mass media platforms.
