At the annual “Marriott International General Manager’s Conference” held in San Francisco recently, the General Managers of Marriott Resorts & Spas Thailand were the recipients of a number of highly-prized accolades. Heading the list was Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa, named as “2006 Hotel of The Year” for its second year under International category.

This award recognizes a hotel that has demonstrated excellence in all categories of the balanced score card. This category includes overall Guest Satisfaction Survey, Financial Excellence, Associates Satisfaction, and the Most Improved Market Share.

The resort also received another 4 awards including the 2006 “Customer Excellence Elite Recognition; Customer Excellence Overall; Customer Excellence Problem Resolution; Spirit to Serve Our Communities.”

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa was recognized with the “Customer Excellence and Spirit to Serve Our Guests”. The awards recognize a hotel that has abilities to satisfy their guests to get the excellence services experience from their energetic staffs. Mr. Anthony S. Armas, Vice President of Sales & Marketing has been recognized as the “Best Sales and Marketing Leader in the International Hotel Franchise” as well as on “Property Sales and Marketing Leader 2006”.
