lowcostbeds debuts at PATA Travel Mart – Asia Pacific’s premier travel trade event

The Bangkok-based Managing Director Asia Pacific for lowcostbeds, Adam Alford, said the company’s debut at PATA Travel Mart after one year of operation in the region provided an ideal opportunity to showcase the appeal of lowcostbeds, which was rated among the world’s top ten independent bed banks.

lowcostbeds will debut at the Asia Pacific region’s biggest travel trade show – PATA Travel Mart – in Cambodia this month to showcase for the first time its trade-focused bed bank, lowcostbeds.
lowcostbeds has also announced it has appointed VLeisure as a regional GSA, to develop sales from retail travel agents across Asia Pacific.

The trade show in Phnom Penh from September 17-19, 2014, will be staged by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and draw together more than 1000 delegates from 65 countries around the world.

After expanding into the Asia Pacific last year with offices in Bangkok and Sydney, we are very excited to connect for the first time with the international buyers and hoteliers attending PATA Travel Mart,” Mr Alford said.

Our strategy in the APAC region is to leverage our technology and vast product range of over 200,000 hotels globally to forge new connections with leading operators and agents across the region and that’s what VLeisure will assist us with moving forward as we aim for triple digit growth in sales in this region for 2015.

Mr Alford invited PATA Travel Mart delegates to visit its lowcostbeds booth – C20 – to view the property inventory, technology solutions and market-leading hotel deals offered by the lowcostbeds application.

The lowcosttravelgroup is marking its tenth birthday this year. The group now boasts 450 staff in 10 offices worldwide, with its growing hotel inventory live in 47 countries and attracting 2.5 million customers annually.  The global lowcosttravelgroup is targeting an annual turnover of over $1 billion in the next two years.
