Keen named first PATA Preferred Partner for destination branding and marketing

Keen, the independent global brand strategy and integrated communications agency, has been named a Preferred Partner for destination branding by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

Keen is the first in what will be a new alliance of PATA Preferred Partners, a select group of businesses drawn from a variety of travel and tourism-related enterprises within the Asia-Pacific region. Preferred Partners will serve to heighten the Association’s commercial sensibility, keeping PATA in tune with the latest industry trends and best practices being pioneered by businesses across the industry.

“Our partnership with Keen represents a strategic push by PATA to add commercial value to the Association while forging stronger connections to businesses in new sectors within the travel and tourism industry,” said PATA CEO Greg Duffell. “With Preferred Partners such as Keen, an agency specialising in branding and marketing for travel and tourism, PATA is creating alliances within new areas of the business community that add further dimension to our Association,” Duffell said.

Keen founder and CEO David Keen said that the new partnership would be mutually beneficial, heightening the agency’s credibility, while giving PATA a strategic partner within the increasingly important area of destination branding and marketing.

“This partnership recognizes Keen’s unique experience in sculpting  brands as cultures, which we have used to bring a new level of passion, desire and authenticity into the hotels, destinations and experiences today’s travellers seek. This will have a great impact on PATA’s ability to introduce emerging destinations in the region to cutting-edge destination marketing practices in order help them elevate their own brands to the global stage.”
