The upcoming retail activation is a collaboration between the EU and Gourmet Market Thailand, to which food lovers are invited to discover a wide variety of food and beverage products from the European Union (EU).

BANGKOK, THAILAND – “Colours by Europe. Tastes of Excellence.” campaign in Thailand presents its new wave of retail activations at Gourmet Market Siam Paragon and The EmQuartier, from March to May 2022. The upcoming retail activation is a collaboration between the EU and Gourmet Market Thailand, to which food lovers are invited to discover a wide variety of food and beverage products from the European Union (EU). The Retail Promotion will be held from 17th March to 6th April at Siam Paragon, and from 21st of April to the 6th of May at The EmQuartier.

Moreover, on the 22nd of March, 2022, the activation will feature a Chef’s Table session with Representatives of the EU Delegation to the Kingdom of Thailand, as well as Gourmet Market’s executives. Also, during the second promotion, the same VIP experience will be offered to the top spenders (online or in store) of EU agricultural food and beverage products. They will have the opportunity to participate in a two-hour culinary session, exploring the fine world of agricultural food and beverage products from across the EU, welcomed by Mean Phiravich Attachitsataporn, a popular celebrity, movie director and influencer in Thailand.

The series of retail activations at the two supermarkets aims to promote and highlight the 27 EU member States’ products, which are known for their excellent taste and high quality, safety, authenticity, diversity and sustainability. The featured EU food and beverage products include meat and dairy, fruits and vegetables, pasta and other cereals-based products, oils, sweets, wines, beer, spirits, organic foods for a total of more than 800 agricultural EU food products on promotion, including organic and GI (Geographical Indications) products.

The organic logo means that products have been produced and processed following strict EU environmental and animal welfare standards, while the GI labels indicate products from specific regions and with specific qualities linked to the production territory.
