Accor expands MGallery in Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Success for Accor hotel M Gallery Veranda Resort Phu Quoc in Vietnam has translated into additional rooms for the property.

PHU QUOC- MGallery, Accor’s collection of upscale hotels, operates in several Asian countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, China, and Vietnam. In Vietnam, MGallery has already three properties: Hôtel de l’Opéra Hanoï,  La Résidence Hué and finally la Veranda Resort Phu Quoc. The two first properties were both recently distinguished as being among the best luxury establishments in Asia. La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc has just been expanded as it grows in popularity. New buildings have been added. The extension replicates the building’s colonial style and added 27 rooms and suites to the hotel. La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc has now a total of 76 rooms and suites, constructed in exactly the same way than the older property.

The new rooms and suites provide the same sense of luxury as the original building. The rooms are spacious, have private balconies and views of either the exotic gardens or the sea. The 19th century colonial-style building faces the magnificent Gulf of Thailand. It is fully integrated in its generous and preserved environment of lush gardens and white sand beaches. A sojourn at La Veranda focus on well-being, discovery and getting away from it all. Guests can unwind completely at the spa and also attend Taï Chi and Qi Qong lessons on the beach to refocus and breathe.

To prolong the experience, La Veranda Resort offers guests a unique getaway on its very own private desert island. The trip starts on Phu Quoc’s south quay. After a 40-minute boat ride across the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Thailand – one of the world’s largest marine sanctuaries – guests lunch on a white sand beach sampling fresh fish and seafood caught off Phu Quoc. Snorkelling activities are also proposed.
