16th General Assembly and its Official Daily Newspaper

Based on its rich experiences from the previous general assemblies, most recently in Beijing, Seoul/Osaka and Santiago de Chile, the WTO`s Press and Communications Department will be publishing the official daily newspaper called WTODaily.

The editorial content of the 12-page General Assembly Daily will reflect the important decisions taking place at the meeting, tourism development in the Member States, as well as providing sightseeing, dining and nightlife tips to enhance your stay in Dakar.

It will be published in full colour in English and French and distributed free of charge at the assembly on the mornings of 28, 29 and 30 November, and 1 December.

The World Tourism Organization`s General Assembly is the world`s largest meeting of high-level tourism officials from 147 WTO Member States and seven territories. WTO`s General Assembly is a forum where governments and private sector leaders meet to discuss major issues affecting tourism and seek the way forward for its economic success and sustainable development.
