Travel Exclusive Asia (Thailand) achieves Travelife Partner Level Award, underscoring commitment to sustainability and CSR. Recognized for meeting over 100 criteria, aligning with ISO 26000 CSR themes.

Amsterdam, Holland – In a significant milestone for sustainable travel operations, Travel Exclusive Asia (Thailand) proudly announces it has received the prestigious Travelife Partner Level Award. This recognition underscores the steadfast dedication of Travel Exclusive Asia towards sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the travel industry.

Travel Exclusive Asia has demonstrated unwavering commitment by meeting and exceeding more than 100 criteria encompassing office management, product range, international business partnerships, and customer information. The Travelife Partner Level standard adheres to ISO 26000 Corporate Social Responsibility themes, including environment, biodiversity, human rights and labour relations.

Travelife, the foremost international sustainability certification for the travel sector, boasts support from over 35 national travel associations worldwide. These include influential organizations such as KATO (Kenyan Association of Tour Operators), TATO (Tanzanian Association of Tour Operators), ABTA (The British Travel Association), PATA (Pacific Asian Travel Association), and FTT in South Africa.

The prestigious Travelife Partner certification has been bestowed upon Travel Exclusive Asia (Thailand) on February 6, 2024, with Certificate number TH0134.

Travelife certification plays a pivotal role in enabling various sectors of the travel and tourism industry to enhance sustainability performance and effectively manage risks within their accommodation supply chain. Certified tour operators and hotel properties, such as Travel Exclusive Asia, actively strive to minimize their environmental impact, contribute positively to local communities and uphold fair labuor practices while safeguarding human rights.

Some operators even integrate certification requirements into their accommodation contracts, working closely with Travelife to communicate the benefits to hotels and purchasing teams.

Travelife’s Trade Support Programme provides partners such as Travel Exclusive Asia (Thailand) with an online portal, offering access to logos, the latest list of certified properties, e-learning modules and a suite of support materials. This initiative empowers partners to stay informed and engaged in sustainable practices.

The attainment of Travelife Partner Level Certification by Travel Exclusive Asia (Thailand) signals another significant step towards sustainable travel operations in the region.
