The job resource board for the travel industry, HotTravelJobs.Com announced the inclusion of a new resource page called “ New To Travel”.
“Our resource page was created to help guide those interested in pursuing a travel career” said Doug Walsh, Director of Sales & Marketing. The page includes a FAQ section of commonly asked questions about becoming a travel agent. Also a separate registration page was added for posting resumes and accomplishments. A section devoted to training and professional development was included with resources from The Travel Institute & The Intrepid Traveler. “As a travel employment site that receives more than 12,000 visitors monthly, we feel this is a great conduit for information and resources for the candidates”, said Gayle Walsh, President, The Travel Staffing Group, LLC.
The database is expected to become a vital site where the newcomers to travel will be able to express their goals and achievements. Plans for development of a coaching and consulting model will be available by late fall 2011 for those desiring a more specific career path.
