Holland Tourism Board appoints AVIAREPS as its representative in South East Asia

The main focus of Holland’s promotional activities in the region will be centred on the Indonesian market, with Malaysia also targeted.

KUALA LUMPUR – AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 55 offices in 43 countries around the world, has been appointed by the Holland Tourism Board as its representative in South East Asia with immediate effect. The appointment was made as the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions seeks to firmly establish, widen and strengthen its brand engagement and awareness among South East Asian travellers and travel industry leaders, so that an increasing number of visitors can experience and appreciate the destination’s unique and rich cultural offerings.

The main focus of Holland’s promotional activities in the region will be centred on the Indonesian market, with Malaysia also targeted. As part of the representation, AVIAREPS Indonesia will act as Holland Tourism’s representative office, promoting Holland Tourism among leading travel professionals and consumers through a number of marketing and public relations activities. AVIAREPS Malaysia will support those activities locally. The launch of a Destination Holland Campaign in South East Asia is scheduled for the second half of July 2015.

Says Andrew van der Feltz, Manager Business Development & Operations, NBTC Holland Marketing: “We are thrilled to introduce Holland to South East Asia as a unique destination that combines genuine warmth and a welcoming environment for visitors who appreciate culinary and cultural experiences along with exciting shopping and family attractions. Our appointment of a representative in Indonesia and South East Asia is reflective of the growing importance and our commitment to this market, and we are confident in AVIAREPS as the best choice for us to achieve our goals.
