HKTB announced that the provisional visitor arrivals for March is 1,800, a 73% decrease year on year.
As the Government gradually relaxes social distancing rules and resumes local tours, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced that “Spend-to-Redeem” Staycation Delights and Local Tours, which are well-received by the public, are soon to be relaunched, providing ongoing support to the travel, hotel and retail sectors and creating business opportunities with a view to driving positive local ambience. Details will be announced in due course.
In addition, the HKTB announced that the provisional visitor arrivals for March is 1,800, a 73% decrease year on year. The first quarter of the year saw a cumulative arrival of 11,490 visitors, a 30.5% drop year on year.
