Mount Titlis

According to Klook’s internal data, ski-related bookings surged 341% year-over-year growth when comparing November to December 2017 with the same period in 2018.

Hong Kong – Ready to hit the slopes, but still deciding where to go? Lucky you: Just in time for peak ski season, Klook has shortlisted five of the best ski destinations around the globe!

According to Klook’s internal data, ski-related bookings surged 341% year-over-year growth when comparing November to December 2017 with the same period in 2018. Travelers from Mainland China, the Philippines, and South Korea are most likely to plan trips to enjoy the excitement of skiing, with an average booking increase of roughly 144% in 2018.

So where can you find the best powder? From popular ski resorts in Japan and South Korea to snow park that you haven’t imagined before in Dubai, Klook has rounded up a list of top 5 ski destinations:

1. The Alps

The Alps are Europe’s most famous mountain range for a reason. While planning your journey, don’t miss the Day Trip to Mount Titlis with Cable Car for an immersive skiing and snow tubing adventure in Switzerland. At Mount Titlis, you’ll also find incredible glacier caves, the world’s first fully rotating cable car, and Europe’s highest suspension bridge. To ensure seamless transit through the Alpine region, book an ultra-convenient Rail Europe Pass in advance.

2. USA

Looking farther afield? Head to Boston or Chicago in the US, where you can try Klook’s new Snow Tubing and Brewery Tours. In these snow-kissed cities, you’ll have a chance to combine a blustery winter experience with excellent craft beer.

3. Japan

Japan continues to top the charts as a world-class ski destination. For a totally seamless experience, the Snow Town Yeti Ski Trip from Tokyo promises snow-kissed mountains and unforgettable views of Mount Fuji. You can also try a Private Ski and Snowboard Lesson in Yuzawa to take your skills to the next level.

4. South Korea

In South Korea, where the 2018 Winter Olympic were held, Klook’s Vivaldi Park Snowy Land One Day Self Guided Tour will spoil you for choice. Within the picturesque park, travellers can ski, sled, or just admire the candlelit streets. Another way to experience South Korea’s majestic mountains is on a Gangwon-Do Nami Island and Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort Day Tour. About an hour northeast of Seoul, this picturesque address is the only ski resort that can be reached by subway.

5. Dubai

It might be surrounded by desert, but Ski Dubai lures snow bunnies from around the globe. At the world’s largest snow park, which was named World’s Best Indoor Ski Resort 2018 at last year’s World Ski Awards, you can choose your own adventure: hit the slopes, ride a toboggan, make snowballs, or hang out with penguins.
