SAii Resorts embarks on an expansive upgrade project, enhancing guestrooms, dining, and wellness facilities. Emphasizing authentic Southern Thai culture, these renovations integrate local arts and sustainable practices, transforming the hospitality experience.

THAILAND – SAii Resorts, the free-spirited lifestyle brand from S Hotels and Resorts PCL, will introduce its experience-seeking guests to a new era of authentic Southern Thai hospitality following an extensive project to reimagine its three upper-upscale resorts in Thailand: SAii Phi Phi Island Village, SAii Laguna Phuket, and SAii Koh Samui Choengmon.

Since its launch in 2019, the brand has already won a lot of followers and generated many repeat visits. Now, to further elevate these properties, SAii Resorts is embarking on a widespread programme of upgrades that will encompass almost every touchpoint, including the guestrooms and suites, lobby areas, restaurants, spas, swimming pools and more. Each element will embrace SAii Resorts’ natural and sustainable philosophy, and Southern Thai arts & crafts, including local pottery, will be incorporated in the design concept.

SAii Phi Phi Island Village, set amidst 70 hectares of coconut groves on Koh Phi Phi Don, is reimagining its space to reflect a deep commitment to marine conservation. The redesign is focused on creating a harmonious blend of rustic and contemporary aesthetics, employing sustainable materials like bamboo and grass, and infusing local cultural elements such as nautical themes and artwork made from boat ropes.

SAii Laguna Phuket, positioned between the Andaman Sea and serene lagoons, is redefining the traditional lagoon house concept, integrating it with modern tranquility. The resort is set to launch SAii Spa, a holistic lifestyle oasis blending wellness with Thai culture and smart nutrition, aimed at providing guests with a transformative experience.

Adding to the allure, SAii Resorts is introducing “InSAiider Guides” to offer guests deep insights into Southern Thailand’s culture and hidden gems, enhancing the authenticity of their stay.

SAii Resorts will also redefine the culinary journey with three food & beverage programs. The “SAiiSational Breakfast” will focus on honest, healthy and homemade dishes, with “eat like a local” favourites and nutrient-packed egg dishes from across the globe that support local farmers and communities, while also catering to special dietary requirements. The “Global Authentic Gastronomy” concept showcases original recipes from around the world, offering a blend of simplicity and exceptional taste to ensure that each dish conjures cherished memories and brings lots of smiles. Finally, “Savor Real Thai” will delight diners with the genuine taste of Thai cuisine. Together, these innovative F&B programs will position SAii Resorts as the ultimate destination for foodies.

Finally, guests will be able to sleep soundly with the brand’s new “Sustainable Sleep” concept, which will see the roll-out of eco-friendly King Koil mattresses on the beds in all renovated rooms. Made from a Persian fabric which is certified as allergen-proof and moisture repellent, these world-class mattresses blend Tri-Zone Iso-Coil technology and plush foam to create a serene night’s sleep.

Mr. Bart Callens, Cluster General Manager of SAii Phi Phi Island Village Resort and SAii Laguna Phuket, said, “We are delighted to introduce our discerning InSAiiders to this new era of authentic Southern Thai lifestyle hospitality with SAii Resorts. Ever since this free-spirited brand was launched in 2019, we have strived to create stays that blend the natural and cultural wonders of these idyllic islands with the highest international standards. This extensive programme of upgrades to our accommodation, facilities, services and experiences will enable our lifestyle-conscious guests to unwind in style and connect with the true spirit of Southern Thailand.”

This renovation project has already commenced and will run until 2025, with major work being undertaken during the low season so it will not impact upon the tranquil ambience.
