Sydney’s newest CBD hotel, The Tank Stream, has announced the appointment of a new General Manager and new Director of Sales & Marketing.
Klaus Kinateder brings over two decades of hotel management experience to The Tank Stream. A true hotelier with a keen eye for detail and commitment to providing a great guest experience, Klaus spent over a decade with Accor in executive and General Manager roles in Sydney, Wollongong and Cairns. Most recently he was Group General Manager Accommodation with the Iris Hotel Group.

The Tank Stream hotel’s new Director of Sales and Marketing also comes from Accor. Div Grover worked with Klaus at the Mercure Sydney Potts Point. Prior to joining Accor, Div worked for the Metro Hospitality Group as Business Development Manager.
Bringing much needed quality accommodation to the city when it opened a year ago, the 280 room 4.5 star Tank Stream Hotel is located in the heart of the central business district on the corner of Pitt and Hunter streets. The hotel was developed out of a former 1960s office and retail building that was clad in distinctive Wombeyan marble and housed the popular Dymocks book store for many decades. The hotel is named after the Tank Stream which runs below the hotel and provided the life source for the early Sydney colony in 1788, as it had for the local Gadigal people for thousands of years earlier.
