Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management unveils the Lexicon IHM Atelier X The FBAI Creators Studio

The Lexicon IHM Atelier X The FBAI Creators Studio will serve as a learning playground for the students where they will have the opportunity to acquire contemporary skills such as cookbook writing, discover the applications of food as medicine and explore unique global cuisines with culinary maestros.

PUNE – Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management is one of the top hotel management institutes in the country. The institute has recently unveiled the first-of-its-kind Lexicon IHM Atelier X The FBAI Creators Studio. The Lexicon IHM Atelier X The FBAI Creators Studio at the institute is one among its many initiatives to deliver superior learning experiences for budding hospitality professionals.

It is furnished with a state-of-the-art culinary set-up, audio and video equipment and a viewing area, offers students a fantastic interactive experience to witness master hoteliers live in action. The event was graced by Mr. S. D. Sharma, Chairman, The Lexicon Group of Institutes, who inaugurated the Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management Atelier X The FBAI Creators Studio, along with the guest of honour Ms. Karen Anand, Founder, Markets by Karen and Karen’s Gourmet Kitchen Private Limited, Mr. Nasir Shaikh, Group CEO, The Lexicon Group of Institutes, MultiFit and EduCrack, Mr. Sameer Malkani, Founder, The FBAI and Mr. Dushyant Bhatia, Blogger at Eating Cultures, Technical Head, Fincuro Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Founder-Director, Bavdhan Citizens Forum. The unveiling event started off with the ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a studio and property walk-through. There was an interactive session led by Mr. Nasir Shaikh, Mr. Sameer Malkani, Ms. Karen Anand and Mr. Dushyant Bhatia which ended with a delightful dinner.

With this initiative, we seek to ensure that our students have the opportunity to extensively interact with the industry through various professionals, gaining not just skills but an in-depth understanding of the operations. Through our collaboration with The FBAI, we will be introducing various industry-relevant short-term courses to enhance the tech-based skills for our students. Lexicon IHM offers a 3-year program in Hospitality Studies and two Post Graduate Programs (PGP): Hospitality Studies (HS) and Facility Management (FM). With a holistic approach to education, hands-on practical training in hotel operations along with an industry-oriented pedagogy of management subjects, the institute strives to prepare students to be equipped for managerial roles.

Speaking about the collaboration, Mr. Malkani said, “At The FBAI, my co-founder Saloni Malkani and myself (Sameer Malkani) have always believed in collaborative projects to educate, equip, empower and energise life-long learners and curious minds. The #FBAICreatorsStudio x Lexicon IHM Atelier collaboration is an effort in that direction in all things food, beverage and hospitality. From short term courses to long programs the Creators Studio will ensure participation and learnings from the best in the Industry to impart knowledge. The courses and workshops would be unique, not taught in academic curriculum, the likes of social media workshops, creating reels, Food photography, Food styling, Marketing your brand and more. The #FBAICreatorsStudio helps home chefs, bakers, influencers both offline and online in Mumbai and other cities in raising the bar. The long term physical collaborative effort will provide a platform for the students at Lexicon IHM and those staying in Pune to benefit from the same.”
