TMA and Argo presented “Destination Greece” in Vietnam

Argo Travel Group and its representative in Asia-Pacific Travel Media Applications with the support of VISTA, the Vietnam Society of Travel Agents, presented to outbount travel agents in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City "Destination Greece" as well as customized travel packages.

“Destination Greece” and its relevant tourism products were recently presented in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by Argo Travel Group and its sales office in APAC region, Travel Media Applications. The aim of those actions is to take advantage of the growing Vietnamese’s outbound travel and attract more Vietnamese potential travellers to Greece. During these events, more than 110 outbound travel agents, who were invited by VISTA, the Vietnam Society of Travel Agents, had the opportunity to receive detailed information about the travel product of Greece, to identify visa issues and travelling procedures, as well as to explore the innovative B2B booking platform recently launched by ATS, the subsidiary of Argo Travel Group.

Argo Presentation in Hanoi
During the 1st Presentation “Meet Destination Greece” in Hanoi, Mr Vu The Binh, Chairman of VISTA, described the dynamics of outbound tourism from Vietnam and the need of Vietnamese tour operators for new products and destinations. According to Mr. Vu The Binh, Greece is one of the most interesting destinations for Vietnamese travelers but, there is a great need for further information about tourism products, infrastructure, prices, and services.


Mr Chien The Dinh, Secretary General of VISTA, was the coordinator of the presentation. He introduced the main speakers referring to Greece, Argo Travel, and Travel Media Applications to the Vietnamese outbound travel agents.


Mr Vu The Binh, Chairman of VISTA, gives interview on the VietNam TV about the trips in Greece, mentioning that Greece is a dreaming destination for the Vietnamese tourists.
 

Mr. Stratis Voursoukis, Director Asia-Pacific of Travel Media Applications and Argo Travel Group, while giving interview on the VietNam TV presenting most highlights of Greece, including several themed travel products focusing on alternative tourism, as well as Argo Travel’s travel packages customized on Vietnamese market’s travel needs.


An overview of the 2nd Presentation “Meet Destination Greece” to the Travel Agents of Ho Chi Minh City hosted at Vien Dong Hotel well-organized by Travel Media Applications, the representative of Argo Travel Group. The event was held under the support and coordination with VISTA.


Mr Vu The Binh, Chairman of VISTA, and Mr Stratis Voursoukis, Director Asia-Pacific of Travel Media Applications and Argo Travel Group, while presenting Greece and customized holiday packages of Argo Travel to 75 leading outbound travel agents based in Ho Chi Minh City.


Mr. Phan Quoc-Dai, Deputy director of outbound corporate sales department at Saigontourist Travel Service Co. Ltd. mentioned the difficulties in issuing Greek visa for the Vietnamese tourists and reported that lately the Greek Embassy has repeatedly rejected customers’ requests and statistically only one out of three applications is accepted.


Mr Ta Van Huy, New Market Development Div., Le Phong Tourism (Sagon) / Southern Breeze, among other colleagues during the presentation “Meet Destination Greece”. Mr Ta Van Huy said that Europe is a promising destination for the Vietnamese; therefore, his office is looking forward to enhancing the tourism opportunities in Greece.  


Mr Tan Robert, CEO of Lac Hong Voyages Co. Ltd. and Mr Stratis Voursoukis, Director Asia-Pacific of Travel Media Applications and Argo Travel Group explored together the opportunities of collaboration in tourism between Greece and Vietnam.
