Rendezvous Hotels International is continuing with the expansion of its operation in the Asia Pacific region and in response to resulting needs within the groups corporate team, has made further key appointments.

Alan Featherby, CEO explains “Rendezvous Hotels International expects to have over 20 hotels operating or committed to, within the next five years. Our growth will be most prominent in China and South East Asia. In recognition of this growth, we have gone to the market to obtain the best talent available and we believe we have done just that with our newest appointments. We welcome these new and talented people to our group and look forward to their valuable contribution to our key executive team.”

Rendezvous Hotels International has appointed Cameron McAlpine (Vice President Operations). Cameron has joined Rendezvous Hotels after spending four years as General Manager for the well-known Briar Ridge Winery & Vineyards in the Hunter Valley. Cameron will be responsible for the day to day operations of Rendezvous hotels within Australia including the successful service standards and the profitability of the Hotel. Cameron will be based in the group corporate office in Sydney.

Rendezvous Hotels International has appointed Anne Mawson-Lee (Group Learning and Performance Manager). Anne has joined Rendezvous hotels as our Group Learning and Performance Manager. Anne has a diverse background, which includes roles as manager, team leader, recruitment coordinator and administrator. Anne’s previous role was as a Manager at the Office of the Employment Advocate. Anne is currently completing a Masters in Psychology of Coaching at the University of Sydney.

Rendezvous currently operates 11 hotels in the Asia-Pacific region and is in negotiations on a number of other properties that fit well with the company’s expansion plans in China, Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
