Wotif Group to distribute Frasers Hospitality apartments

Wotif Group, operator of leading travel brands in the Asia Pacific region, announced its partnership with Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd, a premier global serviced residence owner and management company, to distribute all serviced apartments under the four brands, Fraser Suites, Fraser Place, Fraser Residence and Fraser Resorts.

Frasers Hospitality’s more than 4,000 apartments in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East will now be available at attractive rates on Wotif Group’s five hotel and travel booking services in Asia Pacific: Asia Web Direct – a group of over 100 destination portals including AsiaWebDirect.com, Phuket.com and Bangkok.com – lastminute.com.au, LateStays.com, travel.com.au and Wotif.com. This will provide Frasers Hospitality’s new and existing properties with multiplied exposure to the millions of bookers that frequent the Wotif Group websites every month.

Robbie Cooke, CEO and Managing Director of Wotif Group, said, “Frasers Hospitality is synonymous with first-class luxury accommodation and we are honoured to be their partners in helping to broaden their online reach. As more and more travellers turn to the internet to research and book their travel, our websites and close customer relationships will offer a great online platform for Frasers Hospitality to support their growth and build demand.

“We’re also thrilled to be able to offer its properties to our customers – leisure and business travellers alike – who would keenly appreciate the comfort and benefits of Frasers Hospitality’s apartments,” he added.

Currently Frasers Hospitality has serviced apartments located in gateway cities in Asia Pacific, such as Singapore, Bangkok, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo, as well as Paris, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow in Europe. New property projects are currently underway in the Middle East, and in over ten destinations in the Asia Pacific region.

Joanne Ang, Group Director, Sales & Marketing of Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd, said, “It’s a very exciting time for Frasers Hospitality as we expand across the world. Aside from our hotel developments, it is also vital for us to tap into key partnerships that will help us establish our brand more strongly in Asia Pacific, which constitutes a major part of our business. Wotif Group, with its strong regional presence, collaborative style and innovative marketing approach toward different audience segments, is an ideal partner for us to achieve this aim.”

Asia Web Direct’s destination portals provide comprehensive information and tips for travel in Asia, including hotel and tour bookings for up to 18 months ahead. Wotif.com, the number one accommodation website in Australia and New Zealand, offers great-value deals and promotions for destinations across the world, up to three months in advance. lastminute.com.au and travel.com.au offer detailed travel advice, as well as hotel and flight bookings for the next 12 months; the lastminute.com.au site attracts 11.5 million visits worldwide, with 330,000 subscribers in Australia alone. LateStays.com, Asia Web Direct’s last-minute accommodation service, is one of the true last-minute hotel booking websites, with deals for the next 28 days.

Together, Wotif.com, Asia Web Direct and LateStays.com processed 3.3 million accommodation bookings in the 2008 financial year.
