Tigerair Australia introduces interest free payment option for airfares and optional extras

Tigerair Australia customers are now able to book travel and cover the cost later, with the airline announcing an Interest Free payment option when purchasing fares and optional extras at tigerair.com.au, starting from September 6.

 

The new payment option is available to all existing and new Latitude Financial Services customers. Latitude customers spending over $250 with Tigerair are able to pay off their airfare and any optional extras Interest Free over a 6 month period, while Latitude customers spending over $500 are able to pay over 12 months Interest Free. Latitude customers will be charged an additional $10 if they wish to use the Interest Free payment option when booking with Tigerair.

 

To purchase fares and add-ons using the Latitude Interest Free option, customers simply select their flights and optional extras on the Tigerair desktop site and select the ‘Interest Free’ option on the payment page. Customers will then be prompted to enter their Latitude account details and select their preferred Interest Free term.

 

Tigerair Australia Commercial Director Adam Rowe says the airline’s new payment option will prove particularly cost effective for those booking more expensive forms of travel.

 

 

 

 

The Latitude Interest Free payment option is currently only available for Tigerair flights and extras such as bags, seats, meals, hotels and inflight entertainment purchased through the Tigerair desktop website. The payment option will also be available across other Tigerair sales channels in the future.
