Sunway International Hotels & Resorts re-establishes presence in Kuala Lumpur

Sunway International Hotels & Resorts re-establishes its presence in Kuala Lumpur with the 198-room Allson Capital Hotel Medan Tuanku under a management agreement reached with Capital Properties Sdn. Bhd. The 18-storey hotel opens in 2011.

Allson Capital Hotel Medan Tuanku will be located on Jalan Medan Tuanku, which forms part of a mixed-used commercial development neighbouring Kuala Lumpur’s Asian Heritage Row.  The Kuala Lumpur City Centre, nearby attractions and the city’s shopping district are just a kilometer from the hotel, making it ideal for the dominant targetted client base of individual, corporate and government as well as the seasonal leisure traveller.

Blending the rich influences of the region, the Allson Capital Hotel Medan Tuanku will reflect a fresh, stylish and contemporary Asian flair in all aspects of the Allson Hotel brand of services, facilities, amenities and experiences.

Most guestrooms and suites at Allson Capital Hotel Medan Tuanku will have views of Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Each will feature a comfortable bed, ergonomic furniture, thoughtfully placed optimum lighting, spacious work station, high-speed internet access point, voice mail and IDD telephone lines, a data-port, television with regional satellite news, documentaries, sports and movie channels, large bay window with blackout curtains, bedside control panel, individual air-conditioning and thermo-control, home amenities including coffee / tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a full-length mirror.

For meetings and social events, the Hotel will feature 1,184 square metres of space with a 250 persons’ dinner capacity, divisible into eight individual break-out / boardrooms in varying configurations.

For dining and entertainment, Allson Capital Hotel Medan Tuanku will have an all day dining restaurant, a pool bar and a lobby lounge. Recreational facilities will include a fully equipped fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.  Other facilities will include an executive business centre, a gift shop and four levels of indoor parking.  The Hotel is located adjacent to the Medan Tuanku Monorail Station providing direct access and convenience to the city’s light rail networks.
