Haji Lane
A colorful and hip destination for the young and young at heart, this is a jewel hidden in the concrete walkways of the Bugis neighborhood. Haji Lane and its Chinois-Portuguese architecture is not only the perfect spot for your Instagram posts, it is a home to trendy fashion shop houses and even local designer goods including antiques, vintage pieces and decorations along this little street. At night, Haji Lane turns into a hang-out popular among the locals and expats, who come to chill out and embrace the unique atmosphere. Show up in the late afternoon to pose beside the cool artistic graffiti and try out the local cafes and wonderful kebabs, then stay to get a taste of Singapore’s chic neighborhood nightlife.

Kampong Glam
Kampong Glam was once the home for the Melayu kings in Singapore and it has now been turned into the Malay Heritage Centre, which exhibits Malay cultural artefacts. Around Kampong Glam, you will find stimulating areas in which to explore traditional Malay food in Kandahar Street and Arab Street – such as Zam Zam Restaurant – and delightful shops selling gems, traditional saris and other garments.

Far East Plaza
Orchard Road is known for its shopping streets and amazing line-up of shopping malls housing high-end brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Hermes, and more. Although this area may seem to be exclusively for big ticket items, Far East Plaza – located just a short walk from Orchard MRT station – will not put a strain on your pocketbook. The mall offers clothing, accessories and affordable personal services like manicures and relaxing massages at affordable prices. And be sure to check out the basement where local food vendors serve up mouth-watering finger food to help you maintain your energy during your shopping spree.

The gateway to Sentosa, Vivo City caters to diverse groups of consumers and it is pet-friendly. The mall has supermarkets, dining places, retail shops and a promenade where children can play in the fountain or where shoppers can watch the sunset and get a spectacular view of Sentosa Island. When you’re in Vivo City, be sure to check out Royal Sporting House, offering a variety brands of sports attire and equipment. You’ll be surprised at the cheap bargains you can find from quality brand-name companies like Adidas and Reebok.

IMM

It houses high fashion brands like Agnes B., Banana Republic, Coach and even street brands like Giordano and of course, Charles and Keith – a brand that is well-loved by Thais.
