Situated in the north-eastern corner of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guilin is considered one of China`s most beautiful and scenic destinations. The Shangri-La Hotel, Guilin will be situated on the bank of Li Jiang River, a 30-minute drive from the airport.
The new hotel is designed by Hong Kong-based Wong & Tung International. “Shangri-La Hotel, Guilin will be designed to reflect and complement the area’s spectacular natural beauty,” said Giovanni Angelini, Shangri-La’s chief executive officer and managing director. “Breaking ground in this market is an affirmation of our commitment to remaining the leading luxury hotel group in China.”
