Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo wins Best Newly Open Hotel of China Award

Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo was presented with the Best Newly Open Hotel of China Award at the 2010 Asia Hotel Forum’s Fifth China Hotel Starlight Awards Presentation Ceremony.

As the “Oscar Awards” of the China hospitality industry, the China Hotel Starlight Awards was conceived to recognise the achievements of excellent hotels and hoteliers of China. Award winners were selected by a group of hotel veterans, members of the Asia Hotel Forum’s Advisory Committee, recommendations and nominations from members of the industry and online voting by the public.

Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo opened its doors for business only in August 2009 and within a matter of seven months, our hotel has won this prestigious award. It is very encouraging and this further strengthens our motivation to continually foster strong relations with our guests and to showcase and deliver our legendary hospitality,” said Lim Boon Kwee, General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Ningbo.
