Select Hotels & Resorts International, Asia Pacific’s collection of luxury properties, has appointed TravelCLICK to supply central reservations and Internet distribution solutions for Select Member properties throughout the group, from 24 November 2007. Select will use the iHotelier central reservations system (CRS) for website reservations and GDS connectivity.

Ralph Kelly, Managing Director of Select says, “The appointment of TravelCLICK is a critical decision at this time in the group’s development. It ensures that we will have the best available and best-supported system to satisfy our diverse range of needs covering GDS distribution, a booking engine for our guests with an instant confirmation facility on our Select website and essential support for our internal central reservation system with our emerging growth. Additionally, it can also be used as the booking engine on Select Members’ own websites so it ties everyone very neatly together.”

Select Members can also manage their wholesale and corporate agreements within the system by providing specific inventory and rates to their various partners.”
