Regal adds new property in Yantai, Shandong Province

Regal Hotels International will add its 21st property in the city of Yantai, located in Shandong Province, in Southeastern China.

HONG KONG- Regal Hotels International announced early August the signing of a new 5-star hotel project with Furao Group in Yantai of Shandong province, China. The new Regal Furao Hotel, Yantai is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2015.

Occupying a gross floor area of 36,000 sq.m, Regal Furao Hotel, Yantai will feature 300 guestrooms. The hotel will be an integral part of the Furao Times Square, a multi-complex comprising the hotel, a commercial and financial centre, a shopping arcade and residential apartments.

Located in the east of the Shandong Peninsula, Yantai is amongst the 14 approved coastal cities to be developed in China and is one of the most dynamic cities in Shandong.

The new Regal hotel will be located at the heart of the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Area along the main street of Changjiang Road, offering an excellent location for business and leisure travellers.

Currently, Regal Hotels manages and operates 6 hotels in Hong Kong and 7 hotels in China Mainland. Together with future properties under development in cities in China, including Chengdu, Foshan, Kunshan, Suzhou, Wuhan, Xian, Zhengzhou and the latest Yantai property, Regal Hotels has over 8,000 rooms and around 100 restaurants and bars under its portfolio. Next year will see the opening of the Regal Yuhong Hotel located in Zhengzhou province.
