Paul Gauguin Cruises receives a 2013 Travel Weekly Magellan Award

Silver Winner in the Small Cruise Ship Category.

BELLEVUE – Paul Gauguin Cruises, operator of the highest-rated and longest continually sailing luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin, and the 90-guest m/v Tere Moana, won a 2013 Silver Magellan Award in the category of Small Cruise Ship (500 Passenger or Under) category from Travel Weekly.

Travel Weekly is recognized as one of the most important and influential sources of news, data, and commentary for the travel industry. The publication’s Magellan Awards is its premier awards program honoring the best in travel in a broad range of industry segments including hotels and resorts, travel destinations, cruise lines, online travel services, airlines and airports, travel agents and agencies, tour operators, and car rental companies. This is the fourth year in a row Paul Gauguin Cruises has received a Magellan Award in the Small Cruise Ship category.

The Magellan Awards are judged and overseen by a one-of-a-kind panel of top travel professionals representing the best names and most accomplished leaders from the industry. In determining winners, entries do not compete with one another, instead they are judged against a standard of excellence based on the long experience of Travel Weekly. The full list of winners is available at www.travelweeklyawards.com and will be featured in the October 21, 2013, issue of Travel Weekly magazine.
