In a strategic move to marshal its human resource talents and spearhead its extensive development plans, Meritus Hotels & Resorts announced new appointments in key portfolios and increased global presence through the opening of a new sales office in Germany.
Following his recent appointment as Vice President – Food & Beverage of Meritus Hotels & Resorts in April 2007, Mr Yim Choong Hing has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Regional Operations with effect from 1 September 2007.
Yim says, “Meritus Hotels & Resorts has set its sights on expanding in the region and is entering a very dynamic period. Through the introduction of key operational differentiators, exciting new products and innovative concepts, we are poised to put this unique Singapore hotel brand on the global stage”.
Ms Joan Chung joined Meritus Hotels & Resorts as Vice President, Human Resource, with effect from 3 September 2007.
Meritus Mandarin Singapore welcomed Ms Ng Sok Hia as its Director of Sales & Marketing with effect from 15 August 2007.
New office for Meritus
With effect from 3 September 2007, Meritus has increased its global presence with the opening of a new sales office in Germany. With this new addition, Meritus Hotels & Resorts is now represented in Australia / New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, North America, UK and Europe.
