Marriott Hotels opens Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay, the second property in “China’s Silicon Valley”

Shenzhen, China – Marriott International, INC expands its footprint in Greater China with the opening of Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay. The southern city of Shenzhen is an economic powerhouse that’s home to China’s burgeoning IT scene, and known as “China’s Silicon Valley“. Owned by Kaisa Group, Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay marks the first resort-like Marriott Hotel in Shenzhen, underscoring the demand for Marriott International’s flagship brand.

The Marriott Hotel brand fosters ingenuity by providing innovative meeting spaces to help guests be creative and spark new ways of thinking. In the vicinity of Shenzhen’s tech startups and burgeoning entrepreneurial scene, the thoughtfully designed hotel connects guests with China’s rising entrepreneurs. Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay offers 317 spacious guest rooms and suites, featuring panoramic sea views, as well as high-speed Internet access and high-tech facilities. Located in the lobby entrance, The China Baking Company resembles an authentic Hong Kong cafe serving up fresh breads and pastries, as well as its memorable silky milk tea.

Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay also provides a wide range of activities for guests, such as a 24-hour fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a kids’ club and a spa.
