Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong wins two prestigious awards

Winning the Quality Award demonstrates the commitment and dedication to quality at Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong.

Hong Kong – Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway Hotel and Prince Hotel won the Merit Award at the 2017 HKMA Quality Award ceremony held on 21 July 2017. On the same day, the iconic Marco Polo German Bierfest also garnered the Gold Award for ‘Best Outdoor Events: Arts, Leisure and Entertainment‘ at The Marketing Events Award 2017organised by Marketing Magazine.

Launched in 1991, the annual Hong Kong Management Association’s Quality Award is one of the most prestigious business awards in Hong Kong. The award recognises organisations from all fields of industry and business that have achieved outstanding performance and quality standards.

Winning the Quality Award demonstrates the commitment and dedication to quality at Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong. Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong were also commended for providing “Exceptional and personalized service, exceeding expectations, and inspiring a connection to our brand in the experiences we provide”. Numerous measurements are in place to engage their customers and employees. The ExCom and Associates demonstrate exceptional passion and professionalism in serving their guests, and the culture of the Marco Polo Way is internalised in their daily work.

Celebrations continue with another great accomplishment. Marco Polo German Bierfest triumphed with the Gold Award in the category of ‘Best Outdoor Events: Arts, Leisure and Entertainment’ at The Marketing Events Award 2017. A signature event since its inception in 1992, Marco Polo German Bierfest brings a carnival-like experience to a unique outdoor setting against the breathtaking backdrop of Victoria Harbour at Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel. Audience engagement hits a high note when Die Notenhobler band from Germany plays folk and oompah tunes and hosts joyful interactive dancing and drinking games during each year’s festival. In addition to a variety of entertainment, the Bierfest features authentic Bavarian dishes, including the best crispy pork knuckles in Hong Kong freshly cooked nightly. The event will kick off on 20 October 2017 and run for 23 consecutive nights this year.
