Leaders speak forum in Hong Kong alerts for future trends in travel

CFO’s, Financial Controllers, Strategic Procurement Managers and Human Resource Managers, Corporate Travel Managers and other financial decision makers will have ths chance to learn more about managing the third biggest company expense and the greatest cause of company angst, travel and entertainment, at the ‘Leaders Speak’ forum in Hong Kong on July 4th, 2006 at Langham Place Hotel.

The ‘Leaders Speak’ forum, “2020 Vision: Travel Insights & Opportunities” will alert delegates as to the expected trends in travel over the next fifteen years.

The forum will feature speakers who are travel industry leaders and afford delegates an opportunity to discuss and interact with colleagues and speakers as to future trends and negotiation methods for hotels and airlines for FY2007.

Delegates will also learn up to the minute information and be presented with various view points through panel and roundtable discussions as to how they can automate and improve spend management methods.

It is expected that a lively debate on the impact of technology on communication and therefore the necessity for business travel will take place alongside discussions as to how the requirements for travel management are changing.

Speakers include Paul Flatters, Chief Executive of the Future Foundation in the UK, Peter Gordon, Vice President, Head of Commercial Payment Systems, Asia Pacific for MasterCard International and David Pettigrew, the Regional Director of Hogg Robinson Group in Asia Pacific. The keynote sessions will be moderated by Tom Leander from CFO Magazine.

The forum will also feature a unique creative session on how procurement can be used to lead a corporations corporate social responsibility programme.
