Kyoto Convention Bureau welcomes arrival of leading DMC – The J-Team

Japan’s leading DMC, The J-Team has celebrated the opening of a new office in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan and the country’s leading incentive destination.

KYOTO – The J-Team’s new office will focus on the creation and deliver of the high end incentives and association conferences that the city has become synonymous with over the last five years.  The team running the office will include former Kyoto Convention Bureau employee, James Kent, who is heading up the J-Team’s international sales focus.

Kyoto Convention Bureau, international marketing manager, James Widgren comments: “We are delighted to see the J-Team opening here in Kyoto and joining the Convention Bureau as members. They are an incredibly skilled and dynamic team, focused on the creation of engaging and service led events that deliver top level service and a definitive ROI.”

The J-Team celebrated the opening of its new office with a party welcoming suppliers and venues from across the city of Kyoto.  J-Team, sales and marketing manger, James Kent said:  “I am delighted to be back in Kyoto, which is the home of my heart.  The J-Team has extensive links throughout the city and have organised several major events over the course of the last year – including one for a leading financial organisation.  We are looking forward to working with Kyoto Convention Bureau and the city as a whole to continue raising the city’s profile as a great place to hold events.”
