Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre wins NOSH Excellence Award

The country’s premier convention facility, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) has been awarded the National Occupational Safety and Health (NOSH) Excellence Award 2011 in the Business Services category.

Organised by the National Council of Safety and Health, the National Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Awards recognise and acknowledge the occupational health and safety practices of both private and government organisations.

The Centre’s quality and efficient procedures aimed at maintaining the safety and health of its employees and low incidence track record were credited for its win in this year’s (2011) NOSH Excellence Awards.

Datuk Peter Brokenshire, General Manager, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, said the Centre is honoured to receive the NOSH Excellence Award. “Our people are our biggest asset and to be acknowledged for our efforts in ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for all team members is certainly a great motivator for us to continue our occupational health and safety initiatives and programmes.”
