Intercontinental newest Hanoi property moves into Vietnam’s tallest tower

Korean company Keangnam Vina inaugurated a week ago the Keangnam Tower in Hanoi, the tallest in the country at a height of 346 metres. The tower has 72 floors with the top floor accommodating an observatory. It includes a showroom, a movie theatre, art galleries, bars and souvenir shops. The observatory is expected to become an attractive destination for tourists from both Vietnam and overseas.The Keangnam Landmark Tower in Hanoi offers a commercial centre, offices and apartments and has a total floor area of 609,673 square metres.

Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) will inaugurate its second luxury hotel in Vietnam in September this year named Intercontinental Hanoi Landmark, it will offer 383 rooms and suites and 300 serviced residences and will be located from the 59 to the 69 floors of the tower and next to the new National Convention Centre. The hotel’s atrium lobby, restaurants and bars will be located on the 60th floor, offering panoramic city views. Private lifts will lead to guest rooms and suites from the 59th to 69th floors, and on to the world’s highest Club InterContinental lounge located on the top floor. A large outdoor resort-style pool as well as a state-of-the-art meetings centre will also be available. The Keangnam Tower requested a total investment of US$ one billion.
