InterContinental Hotels Group appointed Tony Yeoh to the position of vice president, Information Technology, Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Tony reports directly to chief information officer Tom Conophy.

Tony joins InterContinental Hotels Group from Hewlett Packard, where he held the position of general manager, operations, HP Services China, based in Beijing. During his 12 years at Hewlett Packard, Tony gained strong pan-regional business management and consultancy experience. Prior to Hewlett Packard, Tony held systems development, project management and technology consultancy roles in various industries including telecommunications, banking and the public sector. Throughout his career, he has worked in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.

With 24 years of experience in the information technology industry, Tony is well connected within the technology field and is known for his collaboration and people influence capabilities. He holds a computer science degree from Monash University in Australia and an MBA from the University of Auckland.
