ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre officially opens its doors for guests to stay from August 2018 onwards.

Kuala Lumpur – ibis, the midscale brand from AccorHotels, is set to make its debut in Kuala Lumpur with the opening of ibis Hotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) this August. Located just a short walking distance from the heart of KL City Centre, the latest establishment from the reputable hotel group will be the perfect destination for travelers of leisure and business seeking a satisfying, comfortable, and thoroughly distinctive experience that plays off the vibrant culture of the city that surrounds it. ibis KLCC is set to be the second biggest ibis in the world and the biggest in the Asia Pacific region.

As it sets to open its first affordable luxurious hotel with international standards in Malaysia’s capital, this represents an important milestone for the ibis brand. Being the leading economy hotel brand, ibis has earned a worldwide reputation for excellent service at very competitive prices. Known for its simple yet modern designs, each ibis hotel is thoughtfully designed from the layout of the lobby to the finishings of its guestrooms.

There is a lot to love about the new ibis KLCC. Situated within a five minute walking distance from major tourist attractions including the Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC shopping mall and the KL Aquarium, corporate headquarters of major banks, the Australian High Commission and the National Library, guests will not have to worry about being too far from the city’s hot spots. Instead, one can go on a lovely stroll and experience the beauty in every nook and cranny of KL city.

Guests can expect the highest level of service offered when staying at ibis KLCC. The new 684-room accommodation is exclusively designed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. All rooms feature the supremely comfortable “Sweet Bed”, including the duvet and super-soft pillows, 43-inch flat-screen LCD TVs, hairdryer & iron, generously-sized bathrooms, modular desks and free high speed Wi-Fi. All rooms are equipped with international sockets/USB ports, coffee & tea making facilities and not to forget, sound retardant windows to guarantee a good night’s sleep at the best price.

Guests will be able to enjoy locally inspired eats at its restaurant, Kampung Kitchen, which will serve quintessential Malaysian cuisine. The breakfast buffet starts at 6:30am and goes on till 10.30am, while the a la carte lunch and dinner starts from 10:30am till 10:30pm. For in-room convenience or on your way out and about, stop by the “Petite Paris”, which operates from 11:00am till 9:00pm, which offers comfort food and hot or cold beverages – on the go.

For a chilled night out, experience a blend of modern oriental elements colliding at KL’s newest high-rise bar venue called Jaded located on the 31st floor with the stunning city views. With delectable food, intricate cocktails and a soothing ambience, Jaded is poised to astound all guests. Jaded Bar will open in the fourth quarter of 2018. Operating hours start at 12:00pm till late.

Other facilities offered at ibis KLCC include shuttle services to key locations around KL City, self check-in kiosks, laundry service, meeting facilities for up to 120 pax, The AsiaSpa for guests to relax and rejuvenate, a fully equipped gym and the rooftop infinity pool with Kuala Lumpur’s skyline as a backdrop. For those arriving outside of the normal check in time, guests will be pleased to know that round the clock check-in is available.
