Iberia can now issue paperless electronic tickets for travel combining flights by the Spanish carrier with those of Japan Airlines International. In the use of e-tickets for interline travel with Iberia, Japan Airlines joins Air France, Royal Jordanian, Copa Air, Northwest Airlines, Taca Internacional Airlines, Lacsa, Mexicana de Aviacion, Continental Airlines, SN Brussels and all the companies in the oneworld alliance (Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, LAN Chile and Qantas), increasing the number of destinations for which such tickets are valid.

E-tickets can now be used by Iberia Group passengers flying to all domestic and foreign destinations expect Naples and Pisa in Italy, which are served by Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum.

The Spanish airline aims to extend the use of the electronic ticket to all destinations reached alone or in combination with other airlines. Today more than 95% of all tickets issued by Iberia are in the electronic format.
