‘Style Hong Kong in Dubai 2006’, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s (HKTDC) annual trade event is set to attract buyers from all around the Middle East and will present to them a wide range of lifestyle products, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from December 17 to 20, 2006.
Over 230 exhibitors will participate in the third edition of ‘Style Hong Kong in Dubai’. ‘Style Hong Kong in Dubai 2006’ constitutes an important event in the 30 world-class international exhibitions the HKTDC organises and the 200 trade fairs it participates in worldwide every year.
Jeff Ambjorn, Middle East Director of the HKTDC said: “Hong Kong is synonymous with affordable, high-quality consumer products that are innovative, contemporary in design and suitable for modern living. Hong Kong companies are also respected for their ability to adapt to buyers’ needs and offer quality after-sales service.”
“‘Style Hong Kong in Dubai 2006’ showcases Hong Kong’s vast variety of lifestyle products in Dubai, which is the trading hub of the Middle East market. With every successive edition of the trade fair, Hong Kong has consolidated its stature as an international market place and sourcing centre for upmarket, quality products,” he added.
Underscoring the growing popularity of ‘Style Hong Kong in Dubai’, Naresh Narwani, Director, M Bux Group, one of the largest exhibitors at the fair, said: “Through our presence at ‘Style Hong Kong in Dubai,’ demand for our BUXTRON brand has increased by almost 50 per cent. In our first year of participation we were looking for joint venture partnerships and distributors in the region. We now attend the fair every year because of our commitment to our clients and to our distributors across 15 countries in the Middle East and Africa.”
