Hong Kong Disneyland opened two shops at the Hong Kong International Airport Thursday to sell thousands of souvenirs with the theme of Hong Kong Disneyland.

It is said many of the new products are designed specially for the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland scheduled on Sept. 12, such as the new Mickey series. The souvenirs include stuffed toys, clothing and jewelry, which will suit customers of different ages. It is said every product in the shop has a special tag for customers to recognize its identity.

With the upcoming opening of Hong Kong Disneyland, the enthusiasm for the Disneyland souvenirs increased dramatically. The free gift, a stuffed toy called engineer Mickey, sent out by Hong Kong Disneyland to its employees last Sunday, now was sold through internet with a price of 285 Hong Kong dollars.

According to statistics, there are millions of passengers traveling through Hong Kong International Airports each year. The two shops at the airport will not only bring in a good revenue but also serve as a free advertisement for Hong Kong Disneyland.
