European Best Event Awards: 27Names seals its domain

The 27Names network, founded in 2009 with the aim of offering clients cross country creativity, strategy and operational excellence officially presented itself to Europe for the first time at EuBEA 2011 and the ROI was more than expected.

“The set of Awards the EuBEA international jury granted to 27Names” says Jos Feijen, President of 27Names and Strategy Director of Zandbeek Communication Group (The Netherlands) “confirms we are on the right path to develop a network of excellence. At the moment we have 16 members in representation of 16 different countries, but we are growing fast and the aim is to become 27- as per our name – in the near future”.

“We are and we will continue to be very selective when accepting new members in the network” goes on Feijen “and the success we had at EuBEA 2011 proves that so far we really choose the best agency in each country”.

And in fact it was a member of 27Names, the Norwegian Agency Fieldwork, that surpassed all the 99 events entered this year at EuBEA and received the most sought after trophy: the Golden Elephant, awarded to the event that received the highest score in all the categories considered by the jury.

The best of the best has been the “Surprise Catwalk” an unconventional event organized for The Salvation Army (Fretex). This event was also given the first prize as Best Low Budget Event (less than 50.000 euro).

But Fieldwork was not the only one that climbed onto the highest step of the podium. The Portuguese Uppartner had the honor in the category Incentive/Team Building with the event “Coca Cola – RED Battle of Execution” organized for the  client Coca Cola Portugal.

Second place, but still very important, in the category BtoB Event for the Italian Promoconvention – Gruppo Input. Their event “Falling in love in Italy” was organized for the client Lavazza.
And Promoconvention – Gruppo Input, received another award for the same client: the bronze in the category Public Event for “The Official Coffe of Wimbledon”

Last but not least the English WRG Creative Communication Ltd was granted the second place in the Celebration/Festivity category for the event “77MTA Celebrations” organized for the client: Qatargas
