Key Aviation event will take place in the Qatari Capital Doha between November 18 and 20, 2013 as over 2000 delegates are expected to gather, coming mostly from Europe and Asia-Pacific.
DOHA – Doha International Airport, in collaboration with Airports Council International (ACI), is delighted to announce the 2013 ACI Airport Exchange Conference will take place in the Qatari capital Doha next year.
The three-day event at the new Qatar National Convention Centre, will take place between November 18 and 20, 2013. It is considered to be the most important airport transport event in the industry’s calendar with an expected turnout of over 2,000 delegates from Europe, Asia Pacific and around the world.
The ACI Airport Exchange enables aviation business experts to share knowledge and experience in one of the most dynamic industries. This year’s annual ACI Airport Exchange conference, the sixth edition, recently took place at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
During the conference, Schiphol Airport presented Doha International Airport with a traditional Dutch plate to signify the handover of the 2013 ACI Airport Exchange to Qatar.
Doha International Airport Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker spoke of his delight at yet another key conference being staged in the State of Qatar next year.
“Doha International Airport is extremely excited to host next year’s ACI Airport Exchange Conference and will ensure we deliver the high levels of hospitality that Qatar is so renowned for,” he said.
“We look forward to welcoming aviation industry figures from Europe, Asia Pacific and further afield for what promises to be a world-class conference. It comes to Doha in a year when we look forward to the opening of a brand new home, the New Doha International Airport which promises to set a global benchmark in service and quality.”
The 2013 ACI conference will include an innovation and architectural showcase presenting the future of airport design. It will also be an opportunity to present Doha new international airport, which will open to the public in the middle of 2013, following a slight delay in construction’s achievement.
