Delta Air Lines SkyMiles program members may now pitch in to support earthquake relief efforts in Southeast Asia by donating miles through the SkyWish? program to CARE, UNICEF and the American Red Cross.

To initiate the campaign, Delta will donate one million miles, which will be divided equally among the three charities.

The magnitude of this catastrophic event is felt throughout the world, and our sympathies go out to all those affected by this terrible tragedy, said Jeff Robertson, managing director of the SkyMiles program. Donating miles to our SkyWish partners is one way our members and Delta can make a difference during this unfortunate time.

Miles donated to CARE, UNICEF and the America Red Cross will help send relief workers to the affected areas to provide services and supplies. All of these SkyWish charities are working to provide food, shelter and basic necessities to survivors. Delta and its SkyTeam and codeshare partners serve several cities in Southeast Asia.

Donations can be made via e-mail at delta.bids@delta.com or by fax at 404-773-1945. Donations also may be made by via the U.S. Postal Service to: Delta Air Lines, Inc., SkyMiles Service Center, Dept. 745, P.O. Box 20532, Atlanta, Ga., 30320-2532.
