Hilton Hotels Corporation and Shanghai Li Xing Hotel Company Ltd recently announced the signing of an agreement for Hilton to manage Conrad Shanghai; Shanghai’s newest and most spectacular hotel development. Scheduled to be completed in 2008, the striking Conrad Shanghai will be located in Xintiandi district.
Commenting on the significance of the occasion, Matthew Hart, President and Chief Operating Officer for Hilton Hotels Corporation said: “When people think of luxury accommodation in Shanghai, they will think of Conrad. Conrad Shanghai will be the third Conrad branded hotel in China, after Conrad Hong Kong and Conrad Beijing (scheduled to open 2008). Another close hotel in the region will be the recently announced Conrad Macau.
