Comply365’s ProAuthor provides unified enterprise system for HK Express

Hong Kong’s low-cost carrier gains single system for authoring and compliance management.

BELOIT, WI, USA – Aviation software leader Comply365 welcomes HK Express, Hong Kong-based low-cost carrier and a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Group, to its customer base with a multiyear contract that will streamline its operational content authoring process as it provides “smart manuals” to crew members and improves the airline’s compliance management system.

Comply365’s ProAuthor, an end-to-end operational content and compliance management system, will replace multiple disparate systems at HK Express while delivering more personalized and relevant content to crew in flight operations, inflight service, ground operations, maintenance and engineering, as well as to third-party vendors.

“We were looking for a unified system to improve document control and maintain regulatory compliance. Comply365’s proven solution and innovative team will give us the tools and flexibility we need to efficiently deliver smart manuals to our crews,” HK Express CEO Mandy Ng said. “We’re excited that the airline will benefit from the user-friendly system, setting us up to emerge stronger from today’s unprecedented challenges.”

Using ProAuthor, HK Express will now be able to better track regulatory compliance, including industry and Hong Kong regulatory standards, while improving efficiency throughout the authoring process from creating, editing, and reviewing manuals to maintaining the data after distribution. Improved user and group management with Comply365 will provide more effective document distribution and notifications, enhancing safety and compliance.

“We are happy to welcome HK Express to our global user community, and we know they’ll find a supportive team here at Comply365 that will ensure our solutions set them up for success as the industry rebuilds,” Comply365 CEO Tom Samuel said. “The tremendous benefits HK Express will realize, including simplifying a complex process into a streamlined, efficient and automated system to deliver more targeted content to the end user, will help the airline better manage the ‘new normal’ facing carriers.”
