Christine Wang appointed Executive Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing of Le Royal Meridien Shanghai

Christine Wang will be responsible for driving the overall sales and marketing strategy of Le Royal Meridien Shanghai with 761 rooms, where she will also oversee the daily operations of the hotel Sales, Marketing Communications, Online Marketing, MICE, Event & Catering.

SHANGHAI – Christine Wang has been appointed as the Executive Assistant Manager-Sales & Marketing for Le Royal Meridien Shanghai.

In her new position, Christine will be responsible for driving the overall sales and marketing strategy of Le Royal Meridien Shanghai with 761 rooms, where she will also oversee the daily operations of the hotel Sales, Marketing Communications, Online Marketing, MICE, Event & Catering, bringing her expertise to further enhance the hotel’s reputation as one of the leading business hotels in China.

Christine Wang brings with her around 14 years of expertise in Sales, Marketing and Catering Management. She joins Le Royal Meridien Shanghai from Hilton Hongqiao Shanghai where she held the position of Director of Business Development since 2014. In pursuit of excellence, she creatively tested business models resulting in a hight growth in total revenue and GOP and leading the hotel to the No. 1 Revenue contributor in Hilton Greater China. With savvy leadership, creativity and strategic thinking, she was also selected and participated into SHINE GM program in Hilton APAC region in 2016. An accomplished strategic thinker and effective communicator, she worked at various position levels with responsibility for sales, marketing, revenue and team development across a wide range of international hotels including Marriott Hongqiao, Hyatt on the Bund and Sofitel Hyland Shanghai.
