BookIt.com and PayPal help travelers book hotels, flights, rentals and vacation packages with one easy payment

BookIt.com is the first online travel company to implement PayPal’s Parallel Payments, allowing guests to use PayPal to book all travel purchases in one easy transaction. Travelers will now be able to pay for flights, hotels, car rentals and vacation packages with one step using the leading global online payment system. PayPal offers a safe, simple way for guests to pay for their travel online without sharing personal financial information.

“Working with PayPal allows us to offer travelers a seamless and secure way to pay without having to input credit card or bank account numbers each time they complete a booking,” said Tom DiBacco, VP Business & Finance of BookIt.com. “We’re taking that extra step for our guests, enabling them to pay for hotel, flight only, and package bookings with PayPal.”

In addition to enhancing guests’ purchasing experience, PayPal exposes BookIt.com to millions of its users who prefer to do business with websites that offer the service. Across the globe, PayPal has over 98 million active accounts. In 2010, PayPal’s net Total Payment Volume for 2010, the total value of transactions, was nearly $92 billion.
