Anders Lund appointed as General Manager of Maison Aurelia by Préférence, Sanur – Bali

JAKARTA – TAUZIA Hotel Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Anders Lund as General Manager of Maison Aurelia Sanur – Bali. The upscale boutique hotel will be managed under the Préférence label by TAUZIA Hotel Management and is meant for discerning travelers with a taste for culture and authentic destinations.

 

Graduated from Gothenburg Hospitality Management – Sweden, the 31-year-old Swedish began his career as a management trainee a decade ago at Plaza Athenee, Bangkok – before he finally became in charge as Regional Operations Executive for Swiss-Belhotel International Indonesia.

 

“It is such a rare opportunity to pilot the first hotel by an upscale label. Even though Bali is quite an oversupplied market, I am very optimistic with the truly remarkable experience and unique touch the hotel has to offer to both local and international travelers,” said Lund.

 

Maison Aurelia will feature 42 breathtaking suites and 12 guestrooms. The hotel is also surrounded with a stretch of artisan handicraft shops, nightlife as well as various colorful religious and cultural spectacles like the annual Sanur Kite Festival.

 

Inspired from a blend between French Colonial and Traditional Balinese, the word choice of ‘Aurelia’ is derived from Latin which means ‘golden’ – a color which symbolizes strength, luxury and perfection. The ideal representation of the hotel’s spirit and value.

 

In addition to the beautifully crafted guestrooms, Maison Aurelia offers spa facility, fitness center, boardroom, swimming pool and a jacuzzi. For the culinary part, Maison Aurelia will host the second edition of Spice by Chris Salans – orchestrated by the only Michelin-starred Chef in Indonesia – serving a fusion of French & Asian cuisines.
