Amadeus completes major upgrade to global website for HanaTour

The project is part of a multi-year agreement between the Korean online travel agency and Amadeus to power HanaTour’s global expansion and technology innovation.

SINGAPORE – Amadeus announces the completion of a major project to upgrade HanaTour’s international website – to give more travelers across the world faster online search results and more choices when making travel bookings.

Part of a multi-year agreement, the Korean online travel agency has adopted Amadeus’ leading online search technology, Master Pricer with Instant Search, and signed for unrivalled access to the most comprehensive airline inventory available at all its points of sale. This means that visitors to HanaTour’s global website will not only be able to find the cheapest bookable flights in sub-second respond times, they will also be able to enjoy a more flexible search experience. Travelers can search by just dates, fares or destination, and receive the best air fare recommendations and exciting travel ideas tailored to their specific needs.

Commenting on the agreement, Chang-Ho Ryu, Managing Director, Flight and Hotel Group, HanaTour, who led the restructuring of the HanaTour’s global website, said “Critical to HanaTour’s growth strategy is expanding internationally. Close collaboration and partnerships are key to this, and Amadeus, as a global travel technology leader, plays a key role in supporting our growth and enabling us to capture new opportunities.”

Sebastien Gibergues, Vice President, Online Travel, Asia Pacific, Amadeus, said, “HanaTour is an innovative and ambitious company which has a keen focus on services and automation. This agreement is a perfect match between what HanaTour needs and what Amadeus can offer in terms of search performance, booking reliability and automation. This agreement will enable HanaTour to expand their reach and offer more diverse travel solutions.”

HanaTour will also benefit from regular consultancy from the Amadeus team to help the business maximize conversion and grow internationally.

With this new strategic partnership, HanaTour will have access to the innovative suite of solutions Amadeus has to offer, enabling greater customer service, and becoming more efficient through automation. HanaTour will be able to speed up the globalization of its websites and oversee partnerships to support its global ambitions.
