Amadeus and Thai Airways team up to reward travel agents in Indonesia

Amadeus has launched a new collaboration with Thai Airways on Amadeus’ PRICE IT Right booking and ticketing promotion programme. This programme rewards travel agents who make Thai Airways bookings through Amadeus’ system, giving them the chance to win some great prizes. Running from October 2009 – January 2010, the promotion is a result of Amadeus and Thai Airways’ strong partnership and their commitment to support travel agents as key business partners.

“We are delighted to participate in the Amadeus PRICE IT Right booking and ticketing promotion,” said Mr. Suvadhana Sibunruang, General Manager, Thai Airways Indonesia. “This programme will offer some great rewards for our travel agent partners in Indonesia, which is a very important market for Thai Airways. We hope to welcome many more Indonesian guests to travel with Thai Airways in the near future,” said Mr Suvadhana Sibunruang.

The Amadeus’ PRICE IT Right booking and ticketing promotion program is open to all Amadeus agents who book Thai Airways’ flights using the Amadeus system during this four-month period. Twelve winning travel agents will be selected and rewarded with economy return tickets from Jakarta to Bangkok on Thai Airways. There are also iPod Nanos and shopping vouchers to be won.

Irman Imawan, General Manager for Amadeus Indonesia, said, “Amadeus is constantly looking for ways to reward our travel agency partners and at the same time help our airline partners to grow their business. Programmes such as the Amadeus PRICE IT Right booking and ticketing promotion help us to achieve this. We hope this reward program will help to show travel agents in Indonesia our appreciation of their continued support towards Amadeus and THAI Airways,” said Imawan.
