Murray Hogarth, leading environmental consultant, has been confirmed as the Association of Corporate Travel Executive`s (ACTE) keynote speaker on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the Asia-Pacific Education Conference in Singapore, 22-23 August 2007. Hogarth holds numerous positions, including strategy project leader at Ecos Corporation, a business associate of Social Enterprise, a board member of the Environmental Defenders Office of NSW, author of the recently published book on sustainable business – The Third Degree, and has a 21 year career in both print and television journalism.

When reached for comment on the addition of Hogarth as the new keynote speaker and continuation of ACTE Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, ACTE president Greeley Koch stated that ACTE is committed to CSR and green issues, as well as finding the best ways to bring those issues to our members. Murray Hogarth`s grasp for sustainability issues and trends combined with a strong understanding of business and corporate culture will be an invaluable addition to our Asia-Pacific Education Conference.

As a strategy project leader with Ecos, Hogarth has worked extensively with clients in Australia, the United States and Asia to help assess how big social and environmental issues put value at stake for their businesses and key strategies for planning and implement strategic business responses. Mr. Hogarth has advised companies from all walks, which include Anglo Coal, Diageo, DuPont, Ford Motor, Bluescope Steel, Insurance Australia Group, ANZ, Toyota, BP and the Australian Agricultural Company.
